System Reliability
Our system is extremely reliable and has the capacity to handle a large number of simultaneous users. Although OSHA has a website offering free establishment violation history searching, their system is frequently out of service or bogged down from traffic.
Agreggation of Databases
Even if the government eventually makes all of our databases available on the web, there is no effort underway to aggregate them into one comprehensive system like we have done. Our system permits a user to enter an establishment name once and select one or all databases to be searched simultaneously. This is a tremendous time saver.
Superior Search Engine
Our search engine returns only those records which match the search string entered by the user. In contrast, the OSHA website search engine simply searches on all matching consonents in a search string. This results in a return of many non-applicable records which must be laboriously scanned to identify the matching records. For example, a search on "Jones Const" using the government website returns all records where the establishment name contains the string "jnscnst" including such mismatches as Jans A. Wayne Const., Blue Jeans Construction, Janisse Sawmill Construction and Ecb Construction-James John Jones.
Confidentiality
The government has the ability to monitor who is accessing their websites and which company names are being searched. This is an important consideration for clients who wish to preserve their anonymity and online privacy.
